Never really thought much about it before, but proper vents for smoke in loft conversions sound crucial. Helps stop the roof from catching if a fire starts downstairs. The article breaks down the rules and setups really clearly, so anyone doing an attic conversion should give it a read-worth knowing how to keep the place safe.
