Personal social media accounts for promotion
I'm an intern at a startup, and I was asked to prepare an initial digital marketing plan. I did so. Then they suggested using my account to promote their product on Twitter and Facebook. Is this legal?
I don't want to use my personal social media accounts; I was hoping they would use the product's official account.

If a startup suggests using your personal social media to promote a product, that's cause for concern. Personal accounts should remain personal, and mixing them with work-related tasks is questionable. It's much more logical to develop official product pages and build communication through them. Moreover, there are now convenient social media services that allow you to promote your brand professionally without involving employees' personal profiles.
